atlas moth. (attacus atlas)

Another first! This male juvenile atlas landed on a wall just outside of the toilet. The atlas is the largest moth in the world with a wing span of 25 to 30cms. (although it doesn't take the title of longest wing span). The tips of it's wings resemble snake heads, to scare off it's predators.
