not too sure what kind of moth this is but Agent Bitten calls it the 'coca-cola moth' because it foams when disturbed and is very poisonous!

Here are a few of the awesome orchids i managed to shoot this trip. Some of them are very rare. This one for example, the catasetum, got all the orchid enthusiasts excited and abuzz. Never seen so many orchid lovers/ researchers/ photographers exchange information and books (some in Japanese) on orchids! Apparently, to date no one has ever seen one bloom up in the hills of Cameron. Lucky me!

bigger than my fist. this is a bud from the world's largest orchid ... the Tiger Orchid (grammatophyllum speciosum). when in bloom, the flower can grow up to 10cm wide.
