catasetum

VISIT TO CAMERON HIGHLANDS.

(PT. 1).

Here are a few of the awesome orchids i managed to shoot this trip. Some of them are very rare. This one for example, the catasetum, got all the orchid enthusiasts excited and abuzz. Never seen so many orchid lovers/ researchers/ photographers exchange information and books (some in Japanese) on orchids! Apparently, to date no one has ever seen one bloom up in the hills of Cameron. Lucky me!

Wah...! These orchids are prize collection! I use to pay so much for them until I moved house & gave the non-flowering ones to my friend's granny & they flowered non-stop. Wonder how long these blooms will last....

G'day moggie, what a great blog you have here, been entertained by the read. Just noticed that my brief time visiting blogs looking for frontpage web hosting items has run into a couple of hours. Easily done when you get engrossed in what people write about. I should really use frontpage web hosting as a search term but then I might miss places such as this post. Besides which working all the time is boring.
