Wild Ginger (zingiber spectabile)
These different stages of flowering were all taken within 2 hours. The flowers last less than 48 hours.

Amazing how quickly that all happens! Plants can be quite scary in how fast they grow and move sometimes. If they could shift their roots and walk, we might have a serious problem on our hands! :)
