I really don't see why we shouldn't mix and play,
'Fight like Cats and Dogs', is that what humans say?,
WE get along fine, YOU should try it some day,
Quit all your fighting and killing.......do it soon, i pray.
To us 'race' is a fun run, 'colors' is pretty,
Who cares if you come from a kampung, town or the city,
Don't matter if you're handsome, pretty, silly or witty,
Isn't it all about living in harmony?
** Ngan Mui is a rescued juvenile civet cat. Favourite past time is jumping on Jimbo's back for a 'doggy-back' ride. Jimbo doesn't mind at all.

What a great shot! It really captures both their look of serenity after a good play session.

I looked it up... it is like a mongoose .... way cute! Do they eat them where you live? Are they pets or wild? Do they kill them in fear they will have SARS? I can't find anything about having them as a pet in the UK. Very sweet looking.

hahaha...it's not really a cat, sara. neither is it a fox, milo Or a mongoose, madwag.....it's a Civet Cat. (there's a little note at the bottom of the poem.) Ngan Mui is not a pet from the pet store, that wld be illegal. it's a rescued juvenile civet cat.
this is a good time to tell mummy that it would be so fun to have the dog play with a 'FERRET'......get my drift?

Oops bad translation from Malay 'rubah' is fox. 'Musang' is civet cat :P

Very adorable. Friends are friends it doesn't so what's it matter if you're a dog & your BFF is a civet cat.
