longhorn.

They come with the storm...

I look forward to storms at my place. When it passes, I leave the lights on and wait with my camera for my night friends to visit. I never know who's coming but Moggie alerts me when they arrive...

Your nocturnal visitors are just so cool! The moths especially are so pretty. Hmmm .. I must go out to my balcony and scan to see if there are any nocturnal visitors. Unfortunately, I am surrounded by buildings and not the greenery that you have. Lucky you!

What a fantastic variety of visitors you have. Very nice shots dude. I like the firefly shot.

Did you offer them a warm drink while they sheltered from the storm? Hehe.

I love insects.... great pics moggie! I like the one that look like leaf. I have only seen fireflies once when I was a child... my grandfather got all the kids some glass jars for us to catch them in and have a nightlight that night... it was magical to us. I can't wait until it is warm here again for all the little insects to come out again.

Haha this kinda reminds me of those moths in that bugs animation. Oooooo beautiful light..Zaaaaap. Well rather then get zap they get snapped :).

Nice series Mogs. Some of it looks underexpose. Usually when the background is white, the camera gets a little confused and underexpose the picture. Could use +2/3 or +1 to compensate :)

Hmm i wander what kind of insects i can find at nite at my place :P

tks for the tip, milo!

a problem i face many a time especially with the moths is they land really high up on the ceiling where i cant reach them with a macro lens. (these moths are barely 1.5cm!) almost fell over once while attempting to shoot at the walk way while on a chair....i live on the 15th floor, so you can understand why i use a telephoto and hope for the best. haha...
