This could be lava rock, during ancient times, when the volcanic lava bubbles over & cools, leaving perfect & smooth cavities.
I have a similar picture taken on the edge of the atoll in Maldives when we were there doing a research. The rocks are beautiful. Great find you have here! Perhaps Tioman was a volcanic island! I know one of the southern islands were...
