here's the story. one over imaginative amateur photographer + one city bumpkin (or city pummkin)holding a divers torch that's shaking uncontrollably due to fear of anything that has more than two legs...or no legs. + one doctor who won't stop chatting = Freaky Flowers.
tks, divemuster. the photo of the atlas moth you took is awesome. i've always wanted to hv a close encounter wth one....still on my wish list. tks for the advice on 'digiscopy'....gonna give it a try.
Mothy was very cooperative to stay still and let me shoot a few shots before the girls started screaming and scared it away. Wish you all the best for a close encounter with Monthy Altas .. Altas.Moth@TheJungle.KKB
trust me on this one, u dowan to b anywhere close when she screams. she uses a pitch so high....dogs howl, cat's temporarily black out, bird's freeze in mid air, fall and bump their heads, moths and butterflies' antennae tie up in knots, squirrels shed their skin (they usually dont!)....get the picture, divemuster?....keep digging!

That could explain the goosebumps I get for no apparent reason.
