i spent almost 30 mins chasing this guy around and waiting for it to settle down! it was worth it.



beautiful but deadly! asclepias curassavica is a kind of milkweed. although pretty to look at, it's extremely poisonous if consumed! flies legs are temporarily trapped in the flowers for pollenating purpose.

not sure what kind of snake this is yet, but it sure is handsome. (thanks Mr.K)........ no Pummkin, this time he wasn't bitten!


something has been damaging the plants in my nursery, here's the evidence.....


......and here's the culprit! beautiful but damaging insect. the pix above is the "shell" of this GRASSHOPPER after moulting.
